Internet Telephone 4.6 is a small Softphone application developed to access Callserve Voice Over IP service. It has an easy to use telephone shaped interface with the basics: a phone book, help button and a dialer, No additional features like conference, transfer or additional configurations for advanced users (won't work as a SIP client or with any other service provider).
In order to use it, you will have to set up an account at the Callserve service website and enter a valid email address to get a pin number asked at login (I always suggest checking service rates before you download VoIP clients).
There are two versions available for download: one for Windows XP (SP1), ME, 2000 (SP3), NT4 (SP4), 98 (SE) and a bigger file for Windows Vista. If you have installed Windows XP service pack 2 you may experience poor sound quality when making a phone call.
Telephony integrators, who need more features and flexibility, sip/IAX accounts, multiple lines, etc, won't find anything new or interesting in this software.
